Maya Kendrick is running away from California to Wisconsin. She's trying to escape her ex, who has been stalking her despite a restraining order. Maya meets her next door neighbor, the beautiful Kenna James, and Kenna is bound to protect Maya. "I'll sleep over your place, to protect you," Kenna promises.
